Why Reports Remain Published
RipOffWire is an archive of user-submitted consumer accounts. As a general policy, we retain published reports even if the subject objects, disputes the account, or the dispute is later resolved. Authors cannot directly edit or remove published complaints or comments; only authorized administrators have removal privileges.
Corrections & Review Requests
Claims of misidentification, impersonation, unlawful disclosures, inaccuracies, or other policy violations may be referred for review. Submission of a request does not guarantee removal. Businesses may submit rebuttals. Disputes resolved by the parties may be marked resolved while retaining the historical record.
Third-Party Services
Optional independent moderation, mediation or arbitration providers may set their own terms and fees; their independent arrangements are not payments to RipOffWire.
No Removal Fee
RipOffWire never charges a fee to remove a complaint. Advertising and profile enhancement payments are separate from moderation decisions.
Section 230
For qualifying third-party content and activities, RipOffWire may rely on protections under 47 U.S.C. § 230 and other applicable defenses. Those protections are subject to statutory and legal limits.
Send requests through the Contact page or email [email protected].
