CONSUMER COMPLAINT

DOORDASH IN ROANOKE, VA — IS THIS FOOD DELIVERY OR A BUFFET FOR THE DRIVERS?

I've had enough questionable DoorDash deliveries in Roanoke to start wondering if I'm ordering dinner for myself or sponsoring somebody else's midnight snack.

I've had food bags show up opened, French fries mysteriously missing, and meals smelling like they just spent three hours backstage at a Bob Marley concert.

I ordered a combo meal, not a concert experience.

Apparently, some drivers think the delivery instructions say, "Take a few fries, sample the merchandise, light one up, and bring me whatever's left."

My French fries shouldn't have to survive a robbery before reaching my front door.

And when I open the bag, I shouldn't have to wonder whether my cheeseburger has a contact high.

At this point, I'm surprised DoorDash doesn't offer a new delivery option:

"Leave at door, but let the driver eat half of it first."

And the late-night deliveries? Some of these folks act like they're filming an episode of Jackass instead of delivering somebody's supper.

DoorDash needs to get a handle on drivers who tamper with orders, because customers are paying delivery fees, service fees, tips, AND apparently a French fry tax.

I don't mind tipping my driver. I DO mind feeding them.

**BOTTOM LINE:** If I wanted somebody to eat my fries, smoke in my car, and show up late with half my dinner, I'd have called my cousin.

DoorDash, DO BETTER.

The only thing that should arrive smoked is the brisket.
